The Xiaomi Mi Play has been updated to August 2020 security patch update in Russia. The new MIUI 11.0.9.0 Russia Stable ROM (V11.0.9.0.OFIRUXM) is now available for Xiaomi Mi Play. The update is only available in the Russian region. If your device is running on a Russia Stable ROM, only then you will get the update via OTA. Otherwise, you have to install it manually.
This update addresses various bugs which were previously present. It fixes some bugs in the lock screen, notification shade and status bar. Many users have reported that there was an overlapping issue while taking scrolling screenshot. That issue has been fixed now. It also brings the latest August 2020 security patch update to the device. The update improves the stability of the system as well as the performance.
